Long Overdue

It's been well over a year since I've done a blog post. I am going to try to catch up and then try to blog at least once a week. David is now 17 months old. Man time has gone by. He looks like a little man instead of my little baby.
I got the onesie stickers to take pictures of D every month. I am so glad that I did. As he got older it got harder and harder to get a good picture. Ha.

He has taught me so much about life and myself in such a short amount of time. I love my little nugget. He is all boy and full of life.

How We Told Our Family's We Were Prego

It's so unreal to look back and realize that one year ago today that we told our families that we were expecting. We found out we were prego when we got back from our trip to Jamaica! I had been feeling dizzy and real tired on our trip, I thought it was just due to the trip. Nope! We took the test the day before and decided that we could not wait to share the news.

It's so hard to believe that now a year later that we have a happy, healthy, 14 week old baby boy. Time goes by quick when you are having fun.

I have some catching up to do on D's 2 and 3 month pictures.

David Is 1 Month Old

My oh my where did the 1st month go? It went by so fast. He is such a joy in my life. I could not imagine my life now without him. At his doctors appointment on 5/20/11 he weighs 8lb 12oz and 22 inches long. He has gained 2lbs and 2 inches in one month.

 He's growing up so fast

He is smiling everyday now.

He laughed at my mom for the first time. Such a cute laugh. 

All of his cute brown hair is falling out. He looks like an old man just going bald on top.

Poor baby has reflux and is now on a medication for that.

He loves bath time except for when he gets his hair washed.

He loves to look outside

I'm sure I'm leaving things out. I just want to bottle him up and keep him this way forever.

He's Here!

Yes I am very late at posting this but with a newborn, the blog is not number one on my list of things to get done in a day. I am learning to let the small things in life go and enjoy my little man. I know that this is just time that I can not get back with him.


David was born on 4/18/11. 6lb 12oz, 19 3/4in. He is just perfect. I am so in love.

It's so hard to believe that today he's a 2 weeks and a day old. Time is already going by so fast.

I love all of his different facial expressions. He has such a personality already.

He is such a good baby. He's only waking mommy up 1-2 times a night. Doing all the normal baby stuff. Eat, sleep, poop, repeat!

I am so blessed to be his mom.

38 Weeks!

I am 38 weeks. It is so crazy to think that I only have a few more weeks left until I get to hold my little prince. I am enjoying the time with just Cody and I while it last. I know that our alone time is going to be very limited. 
The weather has been great the past few days, so we were able to go on walks every afternoon.
I think I have everything ready. David's bags are packed and our things are laid out and ready to go. Cody put the car seat together and put it in the car last weekend.

One Is the Loneliest Number!

Not much longer now until David is here! I can not wait. We went to our Dr appointment today and I am dilated to 1! I know it's only one but I'm pretty excited. We also had another ultrasound. The one at 20 weeks he was breech. He is still a boy and he is in the go position!

We have his nursery almost done. I do have to put the recliner back in his room. I am now having to sleep in it due to such bad heartburn. He is so worth it all though. 


We have had 4 baby showers. I feel so blessed to have so many people that love our little family.
